If you are in crisis
- In the United States, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
- Outside the US, find a local helpline at findahelpline.com.
- If you or someone near you is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US).
Treat readings as reflection
A reading can give you something to think about. It cannot tell you what will happen. Use it as a prompt to examine your own feelings and options, then decide for yourself.
Do not decide big things on a reading alone
Do not end a relationship, quit a job, move, stop a medical treatment, sign a contract or make a large financial move based only on a reading. Talk to people you trust and, where it matters, to a licensed doctor, lawyer, financial adviser or therapist.
Set spending limits first
- Decide how much, if anything, you are willing to spend before you start.
- Check the partner’s rates and billing terms before you enter card details.
- Stop when you reach your limit, even if a session feels unfinished.
- Check your card statement afterward. For billing problems, contact the partner.
Signs of over-reliance
- You feel you cannot make a decision without asking a reader.
- You ask the same question again and again, hoping for a different answer.
- You spend more than you planned, or hide the spending from people close to you.
- A reading leaves you more anxious, afraid or hopeless.
- A reader pressures you to buy more, to keep a secret, or to act quickly.
If several of these sound familiar, take a break. Talk with someone you trust or a licensed counselor.
Protect your information
Do not share passwords, card numbers, government ID numbers, medical records or other sensitive details in a reading request.
Adults only
Readings are for people aged 18 and over.
